I can’t tell you how much the last session changed my body! I weighed about the same as I did this time last year but I’m smaller..more muscle. I can’t wait to see me in 6 weeks! Thanks for what you’re doing!

Despite always having been moderately active, I have struggled with my weight for as long as I can remember. I have never been really “big” but I have never been truly confident with my body. In the last year, I lost all of my drive to be active and dropped basically all of the classes I was doing at the gym. I was feeling worse and worse about myself, but just couldn’t find the motivation to get started. Then I ran into someone who had taken the Challenge and it sounded like something I could manage with my hectic schedule, so I jumped on the band wagon.
The first few weeks took some adjusting, really watching what I ate and going hard for the workouts. In fact, I cussed Melissa in my head more often than not! THEN. Everything just changed. When I did a really hard work out, in my head I just kept repeating “change your mind, change your body, change your mind, change your body”. And that’s exactly what I did. Not only do I feel and look better and stronger, but my running has improved times a trillion. At the beginning, I could not even run a half a mile. This holiday weekend alone, I ran 18. That feels AMAZING. I have signed up for the next Challenge and for my first half marathon. I cannot say enough great things about this program. It has made me stronger, healthier, and more confident. The group is supportive and encouraging. Most days, the works outs can even be done at home. The two most important things I learned were that you cannot under eat!!! And that strength training really helps burn calories and improve endurance. Thanks, Melissa for this wonderful program and for making me feel good again.
